Dr. Heiser
Dr. Heiser grew up in Elwood Indiana, attended Wabash College in Crawfordsville, the University of Copenhagen, and Vanderbilt University. He graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1987. He completed his general surgery training at Methodist Hospital of Indianapolis, and subsequently became Board Certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery.
Recently, Dr. Heiser served as President of the Medical Staff at Riverview Hospital. Currently, he serves on the following:
- Board of Directors of the Indiana Surgery Center Noblesville
- Credentials Committee Riverview Hospital
- Tumor Board Presentations, Riverview Hospital.
He continues to share his professional expertise through his writings for medical publications, and frequently speaks on the subject of breast, colon, and lung diseases, in addition to hernias and gallbladders.
Mindful of the need to stay informed of recent developoments in surgery, Dr. Heiser regularly participates in conferences on advanced surgical techniques.
Since 1992 he has provided general surgery care for the Hamilton County community. He and his wife, Michelle, continue to raise their family here in Hamilton County.
